Pastor Toby D. Atkins is a native of Winnfield, Louisiana. He accepted his to call to ministry in 1998 at the Interfaith Haven of Love Ministries (Winnfield, LA) under the leadership of Apostle Shirley M. Barnes. In 2000, he was ordained as an Elder in the Lord's Church. Since then, he has served in various developmental ministry support roles. In 2020, he was reaffirmed as a National Elder in the Celebration of Praise Ministries, Inc. (Albany, GA) where he is submitted to the leadership Bishop Q.S. Caldwell.

Pastor Atkins holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Occupational Studies from Delta Community College in Monroe, LA. He is licensed massage therapist in the State of Tennessee. Pastor Atkins is a successful entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Founder of Heartfelt Hands Massage Clinic and Mobile Spa (Nashville, TN). Pastor Toby or "Pastor T," as he is affectionately called serves as the Pastor of The Summit Nashville Campus and is one of the Co-Establishmentarian's of The Summit Church Nashville.
