Kia Hassell, M.ED, LPCA | Executive Administrator Summit Lebanon
Kia Hassell is a native of Lebanon, Tennessee. She received Christ, at an early age, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Cookeville, Tennessee under the Leadership of Pastor-Emeritus Earl Dirkson. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Tennessee State University (Nashville, Tennessee) and Masters of Science (M.S.) Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville (Louisville, KY). Currently, she works as a High School Guidance and Career Counselor in the Metro Charter School sector. "Kia" or "Ms. Hassell," as she is affectionately called, serves as the Executive Administrator here at The Summit Church Lebanon (Satellite Campus).

Kanitra N. Holmes | Executive Administrator Summit Nashville
Minister Kanitra Nicole Holmes serves as the Executive Administrator at The Summit Church Nashville (Headquarters). She is a Charter Member of The Summit Church Nashville and on the Staff of Associate Ministers. She accepted Christ at Hills Taberncacle Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert L. Crocker. She attended attended the Tennessee Technology Center in Memphis of Tennessee where she graduated in 2010 with National Certification in Pharmacology. Currently, she works as a Pharmacy Technician Ascension Medical Center. She is the Owner/CEO of NitraNee Enterprises. A company that specializes in Event Decor, Treats, Event Planning and more. Kanitra serves as the Assistant Supervisor of Women for The North Georgia Region of Celebration of Praise Ministries, Inc. under the leadership of +Bishop D.E. Williams and Regional Supervisor Mary J. Elder.

Merrie Thompson, M.Ed. | Special Projects Coordinator
Merrie Thompson is an East Nashville Native. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Human Ecology Child Development & Family Relations from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Chattanooga, TN) and a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Education Technology from Tennessee State University (Nashville, TN). Full of spirit, high energy and excellence, Merrie brings so much life to the ministry. Merrie is the catalyst of momentum at 'The Summit' as she organizes, leads, and helps execute ministry initiatives and projects that serve the Northeast Nashville Community. Merrie serves as the Special Projects Coordinator at The Summit Church Nashville (Headquarters - Nashville Campus) and Executive Administrator to the Lead Pastor.

Dr. Herbert R. Marbury | Ministry Consultant
Dr. Herbert R. Marbury is Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible at Vanderbilt University. A fifth generation Methodist minister, he follows in the footsteps of his grandfathers, the Rev. John W. Robinson, and the Rev. L.C. Marbury, who were members of the South Carolina and Alabama Conferences respectively, and his father, the late Chaplain (LTC) Herbert L. Marbury and his mother, Annette R. Marbury, who is a retired educator. He holds a Ph.D. in Religion from Vanderbilt University, and the Master's of Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary. He spent his undergraduate years at Emory University studying English and African-American Studies.
Dr. Marbury has taught Hebrew and Biblical Interpretation at American Baptist College and served as a mentor in the Doctor of Ministry Program at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio for the program group "The Black Church and Social and Civic Empowerment." He has lectured and presented his scholarship at campuses, professional conferences, and churches around the globe including Harare, Zimbabwe and Oxford, England.
An ordained elder in the North GA Conference where Bishop Jonathan L. Holston was his supervising pastor, Dr. Marbury is the former pastor of Old National United Methodist Church in Riverdale, GA. He continues to consider it a blessing to be able to live into his calling to minister to the Church, the Academy, and the world. Dr. Marbury serves as a Staff Pastor, Consultant and New Membership Assimilation Orientation Leader and Strategic Partnership Coordinator at The Summit Church Nashville.
