Jeremiah 33:3 (CEB) - Call to me and I will answer and reveal to you wondrous secrets that you haven't known.

At The Summit Church Nashville, we are devoted to developing followers of Jesus Christ. Within each of us there exists a strong desire to know God and even more so to know him for ourselves. More importantly, all people desire to know their Creator, even if they are not professed believers in God. We want you to know that engaging God is simple. There is no requirement to begin this journey besides accepting and receiving the promises that come with salvation. Jesus came to breathe life into us by offering himself as a sacrifice, so our sins will not prevent us from knowing God. Once we have received this truth, we can begin the journey of knowing God in a personal way. We believe that happens best when we Engage God, Engage God's People, and Engage the World. We Engage God by strengthening and deepening our personal faith relationship with Jesus Christ. Our relationship with Christ is individual, communal and global.

CULTIVATING PURPOSE.

Exodus 9:16 (NKJV) - But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.

God always has a greater purpose for each of us beyond what we could ever imagine! God purposes not only encompass our lives, but the lives of those around us-at home, school, work, and community. God has a purpose for everyone-including those who resist God. Ultimately, as believers, we know that God will get the glory no matter the person because God is the giver of purpose in every life whether we live for God or not. Once God has established those purposes for our lives-no one can change it.

The lives of men and women are but a vapor; however, God's purposes can be fulfilled throughout multiple generations. At The Summit Church Nashville, we believe that every purpose begins and ends with God in mind first. Every person is born with purpose. The Bible states in Proverbs 20:5 (KJV) - The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out. All people are made in the image of God. Each of us are born with a purpose and calling that we can discover. The Summit Church Nashville, by the influence of the Holy Spirit, is here to aid believers of all ages in accessing God to gain clarity, empowerment, consistency, experience and insight to God's purposes for our lives. We are seekers of the confirmation of the Spirit that affirms the right time of our designated calling. We understand that God's greater purpose has to always be on the forefront of our minds in order to reach fulfillment. 

DEVELOPING DISCIPLES.

Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

At The Summit Church Nashville, we understand that spiritual maturity is not automatic. Spiritual maturity must be intentionally cultivated. Our role, as a ministry, is to partner in covenant with you as you walk out your faith journey to daily become more like Christ. Just as it takes certain tools to cultivate a garden so that it will yield a harvest, there are certain practical tools that we need to cultivate spiritual growth in each of our lives as believers. The Summit Church Nashville is unconditionally committed to help you grow as a disciple through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God, intentional exposure to experiences that will strengthen your areas of ability in ministry practice, fellowship with other believers, evangelism and outreach.
